Behesha Doan

Behesha Doan is the founder and chief trainer of Extreme K-9 and a professional trainer in a wide variety of dog training disciplines.

Behesha has helped rehabilitate and improve the lives of companion and working dogs by dramatically impacting the way people understand and train their dogs. Having refined and mastered her Whole-Dog Approach to training, Behesha has become a highly sought-after resource by professional trainers seeking to understand and rehabilitate difficult dogs.

As one of a small number of trainers who serve on the Senior Advisory Team of the International Association of Canine Professionals, she and her staff of professional instructors and trainers have conducted training seminars throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Widely recognized for her dog behavior insight, Behesha has written numerous articles on the subject of dog training and has tremendous success in modifying people’s perceptions of dog behavior and adjusting their training styles to bring greater understanding and freedom from conflict in the dog/handler relationship. Behesha coaches professional trainers, conducts international training seminars, provides one-on-one training for students in the EXTREME K-9 Trainers Academy, and works with individuals seeking to improve the behavior and relationship with their own dogs.

Behesha is a gifted public speaker, lecturer, and published author on the subjects of canine behavior, communication, and training.

Mary MacQueen

Mary MacQueen is one of our military veterans. She served as both a Combat Medic and Clinical Specialist in the U.S. Army. During her service Mary was awarded the U.S. Army’s commendation medal for life-saving.

 

Mary serves as This Able Veteran’s vice president, as well as an instructor and trainer. Mary has a 35 year history as a dog training professional, specializing in service work, search and rescue, obedience, conformation training, and a variety of police and K-9 detection work.

 

Mary is a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and serves as an instructor/trainer for Extreme K-9, a dog training facility in Carbondale, Illinois. She, along with Behesha Doan, has presented at many dog training seminars throughout the U.S. Mary has a 35 year history as a dog training professional, specializing in Search and Rescue, Ob Mary is the director of TAV’s breeding program. With over 35 years’ experience breeding top quality show and working dogs; Mary is well-suited for this task. As a breeder she perfected her superb line of Nitro Golden Retrievers, known to excel in both the show ring and the demanding world of professional working dogs. Many of her

dogs have gone on to achieve top 10 rankings nationally, and have received national awards for their working prowess. Mary is also the president of the Golden Retriever Club of Western NY.

The Mary's straightforward, caring, and professional manner, bring out the best in both her students and the dogs she trains.
